I am the former attorney for the Yakima Valley Landlords Association. I am the attorney for several property management firms. I was the attorney for a local title insurance company for over 30 years. I have substantial experience in unlawful detainers (evictions), real estate transactions, foreclosures and forfeitures. My office prepares numerous real estate documents - deeds, real estate contracts, promissory notes, deeds of trust, easements, common well agreements, road maintenance agreements and similar documents. I also close private sales of real estate.
At the present time I am restricting my practice to real estate matters. I do a substantial amount of evictions each year. I have written materials and been a speaker at legal seminars regarding evictions. I have been a speaker regarding evictions at the "Crime-Free Housing" program sponsored by the Yakima Police Department several times.

Go to Lawyer for Evictions
Great know legible lawyer that dots his I' s and crosses his T' s. Would not go to any other lawyer for his scope of practice.

Craig knows
Consultation went really well. Conversation was confident and friendly. I hired him on the spot. I’m glad I did. He is swift on action. Reasonable retainer. He’s got my business.

Property assistance
Craig Smith and his assistant Billie did a wonderful job of helping us with a tenant issue. They were professional, supportive and did the work at a fair price. A calm and reassuring team to work with.

Excellent landlord attorney
Craig Smith has done several evictions for me in a very difficult low income housing complex.

Great Lawyer
Craig Smith has been an excellent attorney for our property management business. I would highly recommend him. He's very knowledgable in landlord/tenant issues and always helpful with questions.
