Not Recommended...

My wife and I had JUST an initial consultation with Brian Dano. We knew that he was going to charge us $150 for the consultation and that is all that we agreed to. We weren't even sure that we were going to use him because we knew that he might have a conflict of interest. Our legal matter involved s...omeone that he knew and had possibly worked for in the past. Our consultation was to simply ask if he could actually represent us. He ended up charging us quite a bit for his correspondence with this other person JUST to confirm that he did not have a conflict of interest! We have since learned that many lawyers offer an initial free consultation. Brian Dano is quite pricey, arrogant, and not very forthcoming in his billing.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
