OUTCOME: Victory

The Chelan County District Court found our client committed the offense of Negligent Driving. The State won using evidence we believed was hearsay. We timely objected to that evidence but the Distric ... t Court allowed the evidence anyway. We appealed to Chelan County Superior Court. The Honorable Lesley A. Allan agreed with us that the court should not have allowed the hearsay evidence. Without that evidence the State would have lost. Accordingly, the case was remanded to the District Court with instructions to rule in our client’s favor.
