How do you thank someone who literally saves you from the wolves? My own insurance company turned on me, I was the victim of a rear end auto accident caused by a distracted driver. I hired an attorney I knew thinking it would be a simple case, I was sitting at a stop and he hit me from behind. My or...iginal lawyer allowed himself to be bullied by the insurance company. I was facing a ton of medical bills and a seriously damaged vehicle and my insurance was fighting me...the victim. My original attorney essentially gave up and said he could not help. I was devastated. I felt completely helpless, until I called Grant. From the absolute moment I met with him and Amber his paralegal assistant I felt relief!! Not only did Grant fight back against the insurance company, he did it with absolute professionalism and his demands had teeth!! I went from being bullied to being awarded the full policy limits. I was in a minor car accident in June 2012. I was rear-ended while I was stopped and the other car wasn't traveling very fast. I started having headaches and neck/shoulder pain. I went to the doctor, followed by six months of chiropractic care when I was told I’ve reached maximum medical recovery. A...fter talking to the insurance claims adjuster, I learned they were going to offer me very little to settle my case and may not even approve my medical bills due to the severity of my accident. This is when I contacted Grant Gehrmann for advice. He was very helpful and upfront about my case being a tough case. His main concern was the fact that I was still in pain after my treatment. My headaches had resolved but I was still experiencing shoulder pain. Grant had me go in for a second opinion. After the exam I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon. After receiving an MRI I learned I had a torn labrum and needed shoulder surgery. Even after confirming I was in fact injured and not making it up, as the insurance company liked to imply, they offered me a small settlement. They still claimed my injury couldn’t possibly have been caused by the collision. Grant was so great. He sent me to a few more specialists to confirm that my injury could in fact be caused by the accident and got all my previous medical records proving that I had no previous shoulder issues. One year after hiring Mr. Gehrmann I received a call to come in to his office where he told me he received a new offer. It was a much, much better number. He then suggested we counter offer, which we did and the insurance company accepted. It was enough for my surgery and other treatment that would help me recover properly. Grant was so great throughout this whole process. If I needed anything or had any questions he was always so helpful and prompt to return my calls. He was always honest with me about the risks (like when we counter offered). I would recommend him to anyone.
