Jeremy T Vermilyea

Jeremy T. Vermilyea helps clients get things built. He has been representing prime contractors, specialty subs, design professionals and owners for over twenty years. His projects have ranged from a dispute over a small crack in the tile floor of a custom home in Anchorage to multi-million-dollar claims involving subway stations, high rises, highways, bridges, water/sewer facilities and even cemeteries. Jeremy has been recognized in Best Lawyers® for Construction Law every year since 2013, and has also been consistently rated by Super Lawyers® for Construction Litigation.

In addition to being a strong advocate for his clients in litigation, Jeremy spends a great deal of time working with his clients to help them avoid costly disputes. He prepares contracts, advises clients about important changes in the law that affect their projects and businesses, and acts as a general counsel to help clients reach sound, informed business decisions.

Jeremy is also an in-demand mediator and arbitrator of other parties’ commercial and construction disputes. Having spent the past two decades “in the trenches” and participated in hundreds of mediations and dozens of arbitrations as an advocate for his own clients, he brings a wealth of practical experience to the dispute resolution process. He recently added to this experience by receiving a certification from Pepperdine University’s Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution for completing the “Mediating the Litigated Case” program.
