Shelly is a one-stop shop. This fit our needs perfectly. As grandparents she was up front on what needed to happen to win our case, and she was very thorough in explaining the steps for moving forward and the timelines on when things need to take place. It took a lot of the stress and burden ou...t of the process - which in of itself was a good investment and well worth it vs trying to do it on my own. She made suggestions that we would have never thought of that helped ensure a positive outcome of our case, and ultimately protecting our grandchild. She also kept us informed so we knew how long to proceed in each phase of the case so we had a clear understanding on how long the process would take. Toward the end of the case the strategy changed slightly, and she was very thorough in explaining the repercussions and prior legal precedents that had been set - and why it was a better choice to go in that direction. If I had disagreements or questions she was very through and brought up details that helped me understand the direction she was taking. I came away with a better understanding on how some of the legal processes work out here - and I will always appreciate that. This was so different than my experience with legal cases with other lawyers - I never felt like I was being strung along or overcharged...because she literally does not have time to be inefficient! I really appreciate the work she did for us and will be forever grateful.

Her rates are very fair. She doesn't waste her/your money on a fancy office (It is plenty nice.) and scads of help staff.
