Kalka was recommended by a friend. I was looking for someone who wouldn't tell me what I wanted to hear, but someone that would tell me the reality of the situation and fight for me and my children. Kalka was that person. She always kept an eye on what was best for my children as well as for me. ...I trusted her with my situation and never regretted that decision. She was up for the fight, that unfortunately was ahead of us. She guided me through the process with understanding and diligence but also kept me accountable for my responsibilities in the Lawyer/Client relationship. She was professional and no-nonsense in the process, something that I appreciated in her. If I have any other family law-related issues, Kalka is my first call. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking legal counsel in Family Court.

Kalka puts her heart into your case. She stands up for her clients and advocates for them under what (at least for me) was an extremely difficult, complicated and involved divorce. She was easy to reach when necessary and willingly worked late to get paperwork finished for court quickly when my ex wo...uld try to fluster us or bury us in his filings. She became a friend and I knew I could count on her. I was always impressed with how all of the assorted judges and clerks (even other lawyers) all knew her, and made time to wave or come over and talk to her whenever we were at the courthouse. Many would comment on how much they loved her! I thinks it's extremely important to have a good relationship with those you have to work with daily, especially as a lawyer, so I always enjoyed seeing this!

I came to Kalka a complete wreck. I was ending a 20 year marriage and I had no idea what to do. Kalka fought for me, stood up for me and encouraged me when I was at my worst. This attorney is not experienced. She heard my side of the story but was in some way connected with the my spouse's attorney which leads me to believe she had a conflict of interest and that makes this attorney a poor choice for divorce procedures.
