Caring, competent, compassionate, gracious, ethical.

Although she could not take my case, Ms. Horenstein graciously consulted with me at length and helped me understand what I was up against. I was at my wits end, panic stricken, feeling lost and hopeless. I am a former spouse who has been unable to find anyone willing to take my case to get a clarifie...d/amended QDRO, because my ex is contesting it. DFAS found a mistake in the QDRO language after I’ve been receiving payments for over 20 years and now I’m just stuck searching for someone to help me. I found Ms. Horenstein to be caring, honest, kind, and understanding. She had the integrity not to just take my money and go through the motions, knowing that the my efforts were most likely to be futile and I would have just lost the money I had to take out a loan for. I am profoundly appreciative for her counsel, guidance, empathy, and integrity.
