Getting an appointment for a consultation was easy enough he had no problem meeting me and accepting my retainer. He told me it wasn't necessary to show up for the first few court dates as I lived in Portland and work full time so I missed some important things. He gave me a dated copy of my parentin...g plan that did not include some amendments I had him make. I called him and left messages when my ex was in violation of the temporary orders and he never returned my calls. When I called from a friends phone he answered after the first ring. After my consultation with my new lawyer I actually managed to get ahold of him an he said he would send me an invoice for the hours he spent on my case and a check for the remainder of my retainer and it's been about a month and I haven't received anything from him. Definitely would never hire or recommend anyone else to either. I was left feeling like he handled some incredibly crucial and important details of my life carelessly since they didn't directly affect him. He mentioned when we first met that he didn't have an assistant but the bottom line is if he was overbooked he should not have taken my case and recommended me to someone who had the time to help me.
