Bart Johnson Ricks

Bart joined Mano, McKerricher & Paroutaud in 2011 after serving as a law clerk for Honorable David W. Gratton at the Idaho Court of Appeals in Boise, Idaho. He became a shareholder of the firm in 2015. Bart’s practice emphasizes bankruptcy, business planning, civil litigation, estate planning and probate, and real estate.

Bart grew up on a potato farm in Rexburg, Idaho, where he learned the value of hard work.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree in English with an emphasis on Professional Writing from Brigham Young University-Idaho.  Bart graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2008.  During law school, Bart interned with the Washington State Senate Committee Services in Olympia.

Bart is a member of the Washington and Idaho State Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice in the Washington state courts, as well as the United States District Court, Western District of Washington (federal court).  Bart has previously served as the President of the Lewis County Bar Association, as well as on the Board of Directors for Lewis County Bar Legal Aid. He is a member of the business law and litigation sections of the WSBA.  He is a member of the business law and litigation sections of the WSBA.
