also known as Holly Scott Laukkonen, Holly Laukkonen
Dedicated to the delicate art of ensuring everyone has access to the justice system, I have centered my practice on Elder Law, Disability Law, and adjacent legal issues. You deserve justice, no matter your age, health, or abilities. And sometimes, justice means finding our own creative solutions that the court might not have even considered. Let's work together to find a solution that not only wins it fits!
Until May 2017, I was in a general practice firm in Yelm, with cases ranging from real estate to corporate law to family law to probates to wills and much more besides! Now that my husband, James Laukkonen, and I have started our own firm, I can be more selective, although I retain a wide range of legal knowledge! It speaks highly of the respect that my clients have for me that every single one of them followed me to my new firm, despite the longer drive!
For clients unable to afford an attorney, I am a dedicated advocate for the Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services, for which I was awarded the Attorney of the Year award for 2016. Clients seeking free legal assistance must first speak to Northwest Justice Project's CLEAR hotline at .
I am a 2013 graduate of Seattle University Law, focused on Disability Law and Employment & Labor Law, and a 2010, summa cum laude, graduate of Boston College, with a degree in Corporate Systems and certificate in Human Resources.
I spend summers kayaking with my husband in and around Olympia, WA and Jackson Hole, WY. For the remaining 11 months of the year, I am a long-time season ticket holder at Seattle Opera and Seattle Symphony, which is a fun excuse to get dressed up and head out of town, every few weeks. Otherwise, I'm just as likely to be found curled up with an economics textbook as a children's comic book!
