Matthew Jameson Rusnak

Matt represented me in a felony case I was falsely accused of and worked hard through it all. Covid made everything more difficult and drawn out but that never slowed him down. He was in regular contact with me, had prompt responses and answered every question I had. In the court room he was aggressi...ve and fought hard to the last minute and I was found not guilty. I highly recommend Matt as he saved my family and I from a life time of difficulties.

So I was given Mr Rusnak as public defender in 2024. Regarding a DV and reckless endangerment case that was so far crooked that the police body cam footage shows the officer speaking with a sheriff's officer telling him that even though the female in this case admitted to starting a fight with me bu...t striking me first. I actually never did anything due to my 9 month old daughter on my lap and the fact I was blind from welding burns to my eyes and it was so bad I was unable to see at all. Infact 4 days into my incarceration the nurse came around asking if I was maced or something because the swelling was so bad I could barely open my eyes a crack to see to walk. I suffered a hematoma during the assault after being struck in the head with an object and narrowly missing hitting my daughter. There's more to the story but all previous to Mr Rusnaks being ordered to be my attorney. So I'm arrested and then assaulted by the local police department while in cuffs. I needed medical attention but refused then made a mokery out of to fire Dept personnel and finally at score jail which I was taken to die to asking for medical attention because I was dizzy and felt sick and was having issueS breathing not to mention my sinuses outta no where popping open and for three days pouring liquid substance from them. So bad that I couldn't breath through my nose and the amount of liquid coming from my nose was such I'd of been swallowing it if I tried breathing through my mouth. So first attempt at contacting him was in jail. No answer. Then arrested and finally had court. Where the judge refuses me representing myself. And where he gave me Mr Rusnak as council. Mr Rusnaks exact words were were going back in the courtroom and , our gonna shut your mouth. I don't care what happened. I'm going to get you released and you'll probably be ordered to get an ankle bracelet. Now let's go back in there and get you released . Which is exactly what he did. Then I try contacting him from the following day over 100 times for the next month. Finally found his email and sent a few emails. Only to be given a response that he's not my attorney. That he can't give me legal advice and he wouldn't unless he had all the discovery of my case first and he wouldn't even speak to anyone or attempt to represent them without the full discovery. But I said you already have represented me at my arraignment I said and again crickets. I then get rearrested due to the paperwork the courts gave me and the corruption of the orting kangaroo court and judicial officials who are both racist and they admitted on the record while on recess as to illegal actions they participate in. So at court again Matt's there and the judge is asking my attorney what's my issue now? Matt's like ah duh. Complete moron. I'm told Mr Rusnak is going to continue the case and do research I am unable to speak to Mr Rusnak. I shout out as the judge is moving to the next case that I. Eed me Rusnak to get some info as to the charges etc and he says as soon as courts out today . He will come see me or call the jail. 20 somedays goes by and I'm called outta my cell. And I have court . At which time I am put into a chat room with attorney. I tell him again now since incarcerated I've called over 100 more times and I've sent him 7 kites from jail and have proof they were delivered to him by way of receipts. I ask why he didn't contact me? And why my calls were every single one recused. He says we're here now and have court in a couple minutes. I try saying something but am cut off told nothing we can do about it now but the city has offered me a plea deal. I say absolutely not. I didn't do anything but get assaulted while feeding my daughter a popcicle and if he would of watched the recordings by the police he would know that. He Says look I've done over 20 days and Orting is giving me a plea deal. That if I don't take it I'm going back to jail and Orting is only giving me 4 days credit. I refuse he pleadsanywY
