Phebe Enfield

I worked with Phebe Enfield on an employment case that was both unexpected and urgent. Phebe was assigned to me by ULP. She was impatient from the start, would not ask for clarity about pronouncing names (would not accept corrections and was upset by corrections), doesn't seem to have a grasp on pronouns, and most importantly had shockingly poor reading comprehension while being snide ...about blaming me for her mistakes. I sent her requested documents and asked for clarity at every turn, as she would request one detail and then say she meant something else entirely. She would call me up to yell about how I had not sent her something, when I had, and directed her to the exact e-mail. This happened multiple times. She would reply "oh", read it over, and then say she received it and hung up. She berated me for over a half hour . . .after emphasizing that her time for my case was budgeted . . due to me delivering a document she asked for, as she asked for; only for her to have "meant" something else. To her credit, she called back to apologize and say that she had meant the exact opposite of what she requested. That half hour was when I needed to get in contact with a professional ASAP as their office was closing soon. Phebe refused to say what she needed until she was done using me as an emotional punching bag for her mistakes. Again, right after she called to apologize and correct her most recent request. We won my case, due to prep work I had done that she wanted to toss out. I did this prep work before it was clear ULP would assign me a lawyer. The judge outright refused to toss it. She almost cost me my livelihood because she would not just sit down and read what she asks for, or ask a simple question if she does not understand.
