Steve handles messes that most attorney's are afraid to handle, or simply don't want to waste their time in dealing with. The results of these messes are usually very good. Mr. Downing did a great deal of damage to my custody case. He had a personal conflict in the manner as he had been represented the other person's brother in a divorce case and of course last that client because he took my case. There were a number of motions that should have been filed but because he... jumped into the case timing was a factor and a great deal of damage was done. He also wrote multiple nasty letters to the GAL on the case and I found myself having to apologize to her again and again for his behavior which I truly believe had a huge impact on her recommendations.
