My client in Kitsap County charged with Assault in the Second Degree is very happy today. He was falsely accused of hitting another man in the head with a baseball bat almost a year ago. The prosecutor ... assigned the case just told me they're going to dismiss. My client and his family have always maintained his innocence. I was the second attorney he hired. He and his family have been put through a lot and I am proud to say that it is finally over!

My client was charged with shoplifting merely because her roommate shoplifted while my client was shopping (separately) at the same store. Although they arrived and left at the same time, video clearl ... y showed they were not shopping together. Furthermore, my client paid for all of her items. It took two days to try, but only 20 minutes for the jury to decide.

Note to police officers: if you're investigating an East Indian couple for DV felony harassment (which is a crime based solely on a verbal threat), it makes sense to ask if they were speaking English a ... t the time. Punjabi (like most languages) does not translate word-for-word.
