i’m not sure exactly why Darrell is at four stars on this rating ,when he should be at five and preferably 10 ,Mr. Cochran visited me when I was in a state penitentiary ,and with his own time and resources he battled insurance companies and the state Attorney General’s office , who with unlimited resources at their disposal re fused to admit liability in my case or accept any culpibility, Darrell steadfastly protected my interests when at the time I was indigent and had no resources to fight these huge entities that were violating my civil rights and liberties ..Mr. Cochran has throughout his entire career made it a staple to his itinerary to fight for people who cannot afford to fight for themselves against entities and corporations with unlimited resources who utilize their power and influence to violate the civil liberties of others ..Darrell Cochran embodies every attribute that I wish every attorney in the state or in the country had for their professionalism ,,,put it quite simply the best Atty I’ve ever seen in my life, and that’s a fact
Darrell is a great attorney. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of assistance with large companies or auto accidents. I have talked to Darrell for a little over a year, sometimes on a daily basis. He is very knowledgeable of the law and puts his clients rights first. No matter the size of the fight he is always willing to stay up late with clients and make sure they are takin care of.
Tacoma Attorney Darrell L. Cochran is a lawyer with a background not unlike many people in Washington. He was born in Shelton, Washington, and grew up in Olympia, with parents who worked hard to make ends meet. Early in life, people recognized the inner fire that fuels the success of Darrell’s legal practice. His kindergarten teacher called him “the sandbox lawyer” for his spirited arguments over Matchbox cars and marbles. Darrell went on to college at the University of Washington, where he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He then followed his childhood dream to be a trial lawyer, graduating from the University of Michigan School of Law in 1993, one of the top five law schools in the nation.
Darrell began his legal career in 1993 at Gordon Thomas Honeywell. He became a partner in 1998 at the age of thirty. Since then, Darrell has helped clients win some of the largest and most important cases in the state of Washington. He has been selected as a “Super Lawyer” by Washington Law & Politics every year since 2003.
Darrell has been on the Boards of the Families and Friends of Violent Crime Victims organization and the Tacoma Symphony, he is a supporter of the Special Olympics and Experimental Education Unit for children with disabilities at the University of Washington, he often sits as a judge for Seattle University School of Law’s mock trial competitions, and he is active in his children‘s PTAs. His wife, Wendy, a paralegal herself, is an active supporter of his practice and is PCVA’s Firm Administrator. Darrell has five beautiful children: Cooper, Cade, Skylar, Taylor, and Decker. When not cheering on his children’s sporting activities, Darrell can be found spending his free time snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing or fishing.

Former client: This is not an attorney I would recommend.
He wanted to take my case. He drafted the letter to send to my previous attorney telling him to no longer represent me. But then he sat on my case. For months. He went silent on me. Finally said he was leaving his firm and could not represent me. By then precious time had elapsed and I was left without an attorney just before important deadlines. He showed an astounding lack of interest, professional accountability or care for me as a client. No, I would not trust him enough to recommend him.
