My wife and I originally had an appointment with Andrea to do our wills and associated documents (power of attorney, medical directive, etc.), but unfortunately my wife passed shortly prior to our scheduled appointment. Andrea then assisted me in completing my will and associated documents as well a...s begin handling the probate of my wife’s will and estate. Although I made several changes to my will, Andrea made the process easy and very comfortable. As for the probate of wife’s estate, Andrea very compassionately and professionally guided me through the process, clearly answered all my questions and concerns and stayed on top of the process as it moved forward. She filed all the necessary paperwork with the courts, published appropriate public notifications, and guided me through the entire process. Without Andrea, I would absolutely have been at a loss as to how to handle my wife’s probate. Along the way, Andrea provided excellent guidance and suggestions on arranging my finances and overall estate planning to make things more manageable for myself and my heirs. Even at our last meeting, Andrea told me that because of my wife’s passing there should be a ‘step-up’ on some investments in our joint accounts - something I was totally unaware of and will have a significant financial impact in the future. Working with Andrea has been a pleasure and she made the entire process easy and painless.
