I draft wills, revocable living trusts, special needs trusts for children and disabled adults, durable powers of attorney and living wills. I advise and represent clients regarding guardianship matters, vulnerable adult issues and probate actions.

I draft prenuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements. I advise clients on business formation issues, LLC issues, and contracts. I am a member of Washington Lawyers for Sustainability, whose mission is to promote sustainable business practices through education, advocacy and role modeling.

I advise and represent consumers dealing with debt collection, mortgage modification, and home foreclosure. I have represented clients in mediations under the Foreclosure Fairness Act. I also represent clients in land use matters, including permitting issues, boundary disputes and quiet title cases. I am a cooperating attorney with the WSBA Home Foreclosure Legal Aid Project and have provided many hours of pro bono representation to homeowners facing wrongful foreclosure.

I provide advice and legal representation in adoptions and step-parent adoptions. I worked at the Pierce County Juvenile Court for many years and am familiar with the social service agencies in Pierce County.
