If you are having a problem with your HOA, then you know that most law firms are set up to assist and represent the HOA, NOT you. So I was pretty astonished that Stephen from Third Street Law even replied to my query, much less agreed to assist. Stephen was able to point me in the right direction ...as far as how to approach and resolve my issue. He was ready to do whatever work was too complicated for me, but also happy to answer questions and coach me to do some of it myself to keep costs down. We had several phone/Zoom conversations and I always found him easy to understand and work with. Ultimately we decided to send a firm but non-threatening letter to my HOA Board, and this seemed to work perfectly. My issue was successfully resolved, and even better, I feel like my HOA Board has a better understanding of the law they must follow.

We had a very difficult situation with our neighbors, trying to claim adverse possession on a very big portion of our land. They threatened us with their attorney on how the land belonged to them now and there was nothing we could do then just give it to them peacefully, cause they have had it for so... many years. I called like 20 attorneys in 4 Counties and no one gave us a solid plan. Other than how much they would charge us cause our case was difficult , up to 12k deposit and over 600 an hr. Until I call third street law and immediately Mr Steve Hansen called me back and advised me the plan of attack and my possibilities to win our case if we went to court, at a more affordable rate then the other lawyers. He was able to get the other party to back down and come to a agreement. And we get to keep our dispute property. 100% I recommend them
