Ross G. D. Meyers was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2012 from Colorado State University with a major in Horticulture. Ross went on to the University of Oregon School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate in the Spring of 2016. While at the University of Oregon, Ross was a Managing Editor for the Oregon Review of International Law, Vice President of the Law of Intellectual Property, and a research assistant for Professor Gary and Professor Priest. Ross was published for his work on the Doctrine of Appropriation and Asteroid Mining and he participated in a legal clinic where he represented individuals accused of Driving Under the Influence in Lane County District Court under the supervision of an experienced attorney.

After law school, Ross worked for years as a Public Defender with Vancouver Defenders (AKA Jeffrey Barrar, P.S.). There he helped hundreds of individuals navigate the criminal justice system, appearing in court on a near-daily basis and focusing exclusively on litigation. In 2019, Ross moved north to Whatcom County and transitioned into private practice at the Law Offices of Roger Ellingson, where he practices criminal defense, family law, and general civil litigation.

Amazing
I have severe hearing loss. I was charged with trepassing due to miscommuniction with the police and it was going to affect my deferred prosecution. I was very upset that no one understood me. Ross Meyers showed his concern and understanding! He made sure i would understand as he took his time with me. Every details, he understood my situations. I know he cared as he made me feel comfortable. My charges were dismissed! What amazing attorney he is. A lot of passion, caring, understanding, patience, on and on! I recommend Ross Meyers to all the people i know! A fighter and a great character. He should have his own law firm!

Family Attorney | Jul 20
Relationship: Supervised lawyer
"Ross is a true advocate - he not only takes the time to organize and research his arguments to the most persuasive effect possible, he has the courtroom skills and confidence to represent his clients in the adversarial process when collaborative negotiations breakdown. He is also not afraid to tell his clients the truth, and that is the most valuable service any person can hope for in hiring an attorney. While this review is primarily about his family law work, he is also an accomplished criminal defense attorney, and a great civil litigator in general - basically, he is great at what he does: taking his clients interests and achieving results. He looks at all of the angles, and discards the ones that would be unfruitful or would be short-term gains that don't favor a client's long term interests. If you want an attorney who cares, will return your calls, and fight hard for you in any matter, then you want Ross Meyers."
