Not worth the money

I Hired James Mucklestone to handle my DUI case. I was offered a reduction during the initial phase of the case, before I even hired Mr. Mucklestone. When I first met with him, he sounded exceptionally confident that with his knowledge of the system he would be able to negotiate a lower charge befo...re we'd even have to go to trial. He also agreed to handle the DOL side of the case. On the DOL side, he passed the case off to some other attorney, who only made one argument, which didn't do anything to dissuade them from suspending my license. On the court side, he showed up late both times, and after not making any real attempts to negotiate the case lower, told me i should just take the initial offer I was given. During the entire process, he would take days to get back to me with answers or information, and was just not very informative. all this for $5,000.00. I would have been better off never having hired an attorney at all. I wouldn't hire this guy to perform the simple task of doing my dishes, let alone performing legal tasks, if they have any bearing on your life.

Repeat defendent

I hired James to represent me 3 times so far for traffic infractions including, 2 speeding violations and 1 traffic accident. All three tickets were dismissed and ill I had to pay was the court fees. The first time I used him was while I was on a business trip to Vegas, and called him the day the tic...ket had to be mailed (which I had left at home), he said not to worry about it and handled everything. Most the time you wont have to appear in court, or even provide details about how you received the ticket. Call James, send payment, get a letter or a call with the results. Easy peace of mind. I couldn't ask for better service and have recommended him to many friends and family members.

"I endorse this lawyer. He's the best lawyer I've ever seen in Traffic Court. In my opinion, many judges see Contested Hearings of Traffic Infractions as less significant than Criminal Traffic charges like DUI and Reckless Driving (which James also excels at handling). But many citizens' only exposure to the court system is a Traffic hearing. But they often don't realize the ramifications of Infractions on their insurance, certain jobs, even suspension of their license if they accumulate a certain number of traffic infractions in a short period of time. Even though infractions can't land a driver in jail, fines continue to increase because the various governments need the revenue. James' work in traffic cases is important because he is one of the few lawyers who thwart what seems to be an increasing number of tickets issued. His work usually saves his clients as much or more money than the fine they would otherwise owe. And you don't miss work if you have your lawyer appear."
