My (now) wife and I had signed a contract months in advance with a venue location on Lake Union for our wedding ceremony and reception and thought everything was perfect. It was not until weeks before our specified date and a trip to the location to finalize plans for decorations and vendors that wer...e we informed that the venue was no longer honoring their terms of the agreement and had changed multiple aspects of what made us choose them in the first place. They told us we had no choice but to accept their changes as "We are not booking weddings anymore so you will be the last anyways" as though that was an acceptable reasons. Their communication then became sporadic, and we consulted with Ian (Michael) and ultimately utilized his services to void our contract with the location and return all of our deposits paid (which were non-refundable at the time and not an insignificant sum). He was very quick to respond to us, and was able to get the venue to respond just as promptly, which they did not extend the same courtesy to us before hiring him. Absolutely will be using Ian again in the future for any legal issues.
