About me

Laura's practice focuses on wills, trusts and estates. She works with individuals to help them establish foundational documents, such as tax saving wills and living trusts, financial and health care powers of attorneys, and health care directives. She addresses complex issues that may arise, including non-citizen status, retirement benefit planning and life insurance arrangements.

Although I have not had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Hoexter personally, I have seen her work through some of her clients who have asked me to review the wills, health care proxies and living wills she has prepared for them. I was very impressed by Ms. Hoexter's thoroughness and attention to detail, which of course is of paramount importance when it comes to trusts and estates. I would trust my own wills and health care proxies to Ms. Hoexter and unhesitatingly recommend her to anyone else seeking to prepare, amend, redraft or otherwise change or delve into planning their estate.

Ms. Hoexter is one of the most impressive lawyers I've ever met. She has the rare combination of people skills, excellent character and ethics, and knowledge of the law. She is able to meet with families at a very difficult point in their lives (writing wills and estate planning often when someone is close to death) and is able to ease people's minds. She is a kind and caring person and that is apparent when she deals with clients. In addition, her knowledge of the law is first-rate. She understands the nuances in the law that will most benefit cliens. She has exceeded expectations in numerous situations, even with demanding clients. I highly recommend her.
