Karma L Zaike

I sought a second opinion on my divorce case after quickly realizing the firm I had was using tactics to draw out fees and timeline with a less than optimal outcome. Upon meeting Karma, I realized many of the things told to me by my original firm were not true. For instance, I didn't need a temporary... order which my attorney was vying for (and costing lots of money negotiating with opposing counsel.) Karma was direct and honest. She presented herself as very competent and laid out a strategy that appeared expedient. After switching firms to Ms. Zaike, she quickly got a trial date and it was an effective strategy at getting opposing counsel to make decisions and force a fixed timeline. After mediation was unsuccessful, opposing counsel quickly compromised because they did not want to go to trial. Overall, I was very happy with the outcome. Karma is an attorney who's heart is in the right place and she has a passion for doing the right thing with he legal chops to put forth a strategic plan for her clients. Karma's fees are higher than some but when you have someone that can get the job done expediently, it more than pays for itself.

I hired Karma after a terrible experience with another attorney who did nothing and could barely remember my name. I felt lucky to get into her practice as she wasn't available earlier in the case. Karma got up to speed on my matter within 1 hour and has been very fair on billing. She and her staff a...re warm, caring and efficient. She has been a strong advocate, always has a sound strategy and was viewed as collaborative and fair during mediation. Her firm is the kind of firm other lawyers retain as they have a stellar reputation as strong advisors and respected counsel. I would hire her again in a heart beat and feel lucky to have her on my and my son's side.
