Biography
Casey practices aviation law, aviator defense, complex product liability, and wrongful death accident cases.
Casey received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and a Minor in Chinese from Brigham Young University. Casey received his law degree at Seattle University School of Law, where he was the Business Editor of the Seattle Journal of Environmental Law and an Extern Legal Clerk to the Honorable John Coughenour of the US District Court. He is an adjunct professor at the Seattle University School of Law, where he teaches a course on Aviation and Space Law.
Casey is an FAA Certified Flight Instructor with over 1000 hours of flight time in aircraft of all sizes. Casey is a senior member of the Civil Air Patrol, which conducts search and rescue operations around the United States.
Casey is an AOPA panel attorney, a member of the King County Bar Association’s Aviation Section, and a member of the ABA Air and Space Law Forum.
He regularly gives presentations on aviation law to pilots, flight instructors, attorneys, insurance professionals, and the general public.
He is admitted to practice law in federal and state courts in Washington.
