Biography
Amanda Carmody is an associate attorney in the firm’s Seattle office.
Amanda decided she wanted to be a personal injury lawyer after spending several years working as a paralegal at a law firm. In that role, she was able to help individuals who had suffered catastrophic injuries or the families of people who had lost their life due to the negligence of another. Witnessing first-hand how critical exceptional representation was in during these lifechanging events convinced Amanda that she needed a law degree to better serve her community.
During law school, Amanda was the President of the student chapter of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association and the lead citations editor for the Natural Resources Journal. She continues to serve on the editorial board of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Journal. She went on to become an attorney at a small firm in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where she handled a variety of civil rights, wrongful death, and personal injury cases.
