My wife was refusing to let me have my son prior to getting a court order. Jodie told me not to take him as it would cause conflict that would look bad for me. When we went to court the judge was more concerned with the status quo and questioned my ability to even be able to handle my son overnight b...ecause I haven't gotten to him overnight yet. I just went to court for a second time trying to get my rightful amount of time with my son but instead only got crumbs, again because of the status quo. Talking to several attorneys and reading books on divorce, all say to take your child the amount you want them before court orders are in place to establish a studies quo otherwise the courts will rule on the current studies quo. Jodie's recommendations for me a whopping 15 hours a week with my son. I can't say how highly I recommend going with another attorney.
