Shelby R Frost Lemmel

Shelby Lemmel is a partner at Masters Law Group, previously Wiggins & Masters, PLLC, which she joined in 2003.  Shelby’s practice is almost exclusively appellate.  She represents clients in Washington’s three appellate courts, the Washington Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.  Shelby also represents clients in trial litigation matters regarding potential appellate issues and remand proceedings, and assists trial counsel engaged in litigation or alternative dispute resolution.  Shelby’s practice covers all areas of civil law, including general torts and medical negligence, real property, constitutional law, contracts, and family law. 

Shelby received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law, and was a judicial extern for the Honorable Barbara J. Rothstein, Western District of Washington, and for Justice Charles W. Johnson, Washington State Supreme Court.  Shelby is a member of the Washington Appellate Lawyers Association, and a contributing editor to the Washington Appellate Practice Deskbook.  Shelby regularly presents at CLEs covering various topics, including appellate practice, personal injury, and family law.
