Nikki Carsley’s civil-litigation practice focuses on municipal law and police liability. She also represents clients in a range of disputes, including personal-injury, premises-liability, employment, and commercial matters. She litigates in both state and federal courts. Nikki joined the firm in 2013 after graduating from the University of Washington School of Law with high honors. During law school, Nikki served as a managing editor for the Washington Law Review and was selected by the faculty as a teaching assistant for first-year legal writing classes. Prior to joining Mills Meyers Swartling, Nikki externed for the Honorable John C. Coughenour of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. Outside of work, Nikki enjoys long-distance cycling, hiking, yoga, traveling, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
