Excellent service

My divorce case was a very hard case, because I only had a few days to find and hire an Attorney.  Fortunately, Attorney Webbeking was able to take my case only two days before my Response with the court was due.  At the hearing, he defended me and the commissioner approved basically everything that ...I had requested, even though my ex-wife was accusing me of things I hadn’t done, and was also requesting a restriction order against me.  Thank to Attorney Webbeking, the court dismissed the Restriction order and accepted my Proposed Temporary Parenting Plan, and also ordered fair Child Support.  Now, the biggest problem of my divorce is over and I am able to enjoy my time with my children.

Fantastic Lawyer- Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Matthew Webbeking, and the entire Lawgena team, enough. I hired Matthew for temporary custody and temporary support. From beginning to end, Matthew was extremely efficient and professional. Considering this was my first experience with the court system, I was terrified, to say th...e least. I was terrified to put the fate of my child into the hands of unknown people, and a system that I didn't always believe in. Matthew was incredibly informative, prompt with responding, always willing to answer my questions (and I had LOTS), and made sure I was completely prepared for my case. Matthew made sure my goals were realistic, gave me a very clear idea of what to expect, and stood by my side the entire time. Not only did Matthew fight for me to get what I wanted, he fought for me to get more. He got me what I deserved. As a mother, the well being of my child is not something I take lightly. In fact, allowing someone else to take the reigns and fight for my child, the way I would fight, is not something I thought I would ever do. But I put all my faith in Matthew, and I have never regretted it. I cannot thank Matthew, Maria, and the entire Lawgena staff enough!!

Be aware

I previously had left a review for Matthew as we hired him for a child custody case. We were very happy with the results that we had so far, but were still going to need his representation at the final trial. I felt VERY pressured to leave reviews from his legal assistant Sara. And when I say very ...pressured; I mean several emails back and forth to leave reviews on at least 3 websites for Matthew. I get it; they want to earn more business. Since we were still working with him and we had no issues thus far; I obliged and left reviews on all of the sites after repeatedly being requested at least 5 or 6 times which included phone calls to my significant other to leave reviews as well. Immediately after we left all the reviews (within two days or so) we were notified from the legal assistant that they wanted to pull out of our case. Which was fine as he mentioned that he would be able to help us if we needed to hire him for the final trial date. I told him that it was going to most likely be a possibility. A few weeks later I email them to discuss and talk about pricing for representation in the final trial and the response was "we are slammed with cases and aren't taking any new ones; good luck." Now if that isn't a "screw you" email I don't know what is. Just be aware of the following before you hire: declarations taken from the legal assistant should be proof read and rewritten if possible by someone proficient in the English language. Mine was written with very bad grammar and it didn't represent the way I articulate myself -you can tell a non-native English speaker didn't write it, but I was pressured to sign it within the next 10 minutes of it being sent to me because it was needed immediately so I signed it. In addition, I didn't want to offend Sara on the poor grammar because I would have had to rewrite it for it to sound like it was written by a mature adult. The legal assistances first languages are not English and their grammar is not up to par with what a legal assistant should have; especially if they are going to be writing up official documents. The legal assistances customer service skills however are great; it just really is a bummer that a repeat client was treated this way- not a great way to attract and retain future business- keep this in mind.

I should have been more sensitive in the language I chose when declining your request to rehire me on October 17th, and I can see why you may have been upset about that, and I apologize. Your reviews help improve this law firm. I am looking into extra staffing to be able to better handle surges in business, so next time I can take a request for rehire such as yours. We have a high-quality system with checks and balances. You gave just one declaration (a three-pager), and it was without mistake except for a single typo at the top of the second page (the word 'dad' spelled as 'day'), which you corrected and initialed. At the time, you seemed happy with your declaration, with our service, and with the successful result at the subsequent court hearing — giving us great reviews. I will check into whether you received multiple review requests, contrary to our policy. To set the record straight, your initial voluntary reviews were on August 21st, and I made the decision to withdraw on September 12th (the fee agreement having been completed), so this is not at all a withdrawal "immediately after you left reviews" as you say. Sorry again I could not take your case the second time around, but thanks for the great reviews the first time. Please do reach out to me directly, if there is something I can do for you.
