Mr. Mathias was helpful when it came to getting a guardian for my mother. However, afterwards he didn't help. I was informed by the guardian that I could see how my brother was keeping the books. He suggested I talk to Mr. Mathias. I sent him a letter asking him to contact my sibling's attorney. He n...ever callled me back. I then called and left him a voice mail. He never responded to that either. I then found someone who is more responsive to my concerns. He also told me that a guardian could not force an incapacitated person into a care facility against their wishes. It happened to me and he didn't seem to care (he recommended the guardian to me as "highly qualified". The guardian is now under investigation by the Certified Professional Guardian Board for breaking state law.
