Excellent consultation gave us peace of mind

We were referred to Kimberly Loges by the King County Bar Association, and we are ever so grateful that we were. We needed advice about how to prevent a protective restraining order from being terminated. Kim agreed to meet with us on very short notice for a consultation. From the start, Kim hel...ped us start gaining a better understanding of the applicable law, including what bar the respondent would need to reach in order to have the order terminated. She reviewed the documents we had to hand and helped explain their relevance (and in some cases, lack thereof) to what the respondent was claiming. She gave us information about pro se representation, and helped us decide a strategy on how to respond to the termination motion to give us the best chance of success. Kim did all of the above with great empathy and care. My friend is a victim of domestic violence, and Kim made her feel heard and helped give us the tools to address the situation. We felt much more calm and in control of our next steps after our consultation with Kim. I would highly recommend Kimberly Loges for anyone who has a family law concern, especially as the petitioner for a protective restraining order.

Amazing Attorney

Kim represented me in a tricky, contentious divorce with challenging opposing counsel. I can’t thank her enough for the grace, savvy, professionalism and grit that she demonstrated throughout my case. Her legal prowess and ability to calmly approach the issues, when the other side was definitely not,... was impressive and appreciated. Kim also educated me on the business side of divorce which kept me focused in what is an emotional process. I came out of this better than I ever anticipated possible thanks to Kim.

The Best

I have had Kim as attorney for just over 5 years now. I was going through a very difficult child custody and domestic violence case. Throughout the entire process, Kim was amazing! She kept me in the loop of everything going on, including her thoughts on different scenarios. Kim managed to get the be...st outcome possible to keep my children and myself safe after almost a full week a trial. When I needed Kim again, she jumped right in and helped me with that situation. Kim has a way to make you feel calm during a very stressful time. For instance, she knew how stressed I would get before court knowing my ex would be there and I couldn't eat. She would make sure I would eat before even bringing extra food knowing. If I ever need help again in the future, Kim is the one I will be calling. She is wonderful!

Top Notch

Kimberly immediately understood what I needed and wasted no time leading me in the right direction. She gave clear instructions as to what I needed to accomplish and she followed through with every aspect of my case. She took the stress out of the situation and though she was professional, she didn...’t make me feel like a paying client. Highly recommend!

Could not be bothered

Kimberly was referred to me by the KCBA, she was great on the phone, came up with quick simple options for a simple matter with my ex. She agreed to provide a service, and would email me the fee agreement. Communication stopped, she would not return my email, had to be called, and I was given the s...tory that she and her family were sick, but she would try and get the fee agreement out by end of week ( which was 2 weeks after consult). Needless to say this never happened. Oddly after emailing her with my frustrations and stating I would be following up with KCBA and other referral spots to make sure others do not have to go through what she did to me, she immediately responded, asking how she could “make it up to me”. She then offered her service ( writing a simple letter) for free. The delay has caused my situation to worsen, and I am now forced to find other legal assistance due to this delay and unprofessional action.
