A fighter in your corner.

Rebecca helped immensely during my divorce and I continue to consult with her due to my ex spouse being extremely high conflict. Her guidance is very much appreciated and has saved me countless hours of not only my own time, but also attorneys fees, because she is so good at addressing the many issue...s that my ex raises without basis or evidence - thus preventing baseless motions from ever being filed.

Will represent opposing party rather than her client

When Rebecca assumed representation in my case, I reasonably expected competent advocacy focused on protecting my children and me. Instead, it became immediately clear that she had no intention of actively representing our interests. I repeatedly provided Rebecca with evidence of ongoing verbal, e...motional, and psychological abuse by my ex-husband toward both myself and our children. Her only response—repeated verbatim—was, “I’m sorry he is still treating you this way. Keep documenting.” She offered no legal strategy, no guidance on how to strengthen documentation, no explanation of what threshold would warrant court intervention, and no timeline for action, despite the volume and seriousness of the evidence I provided. Rebecca’s persistent inaction and dismissal of my safety concerns directly contributed to escalating harm. After I was injured as a result of the opposing party’s behavior, her response remained unchanged: “I’m sorry he’s still treating you this way. Keep documenting.” On multiple occasions when I expressed that I believed a protection order was necessary, Rebecca told me I lacked legal standing—even after physical injury had occurred. During a virtual hearing, Rebecca displayed open contempt for her role as my attorney by acting dismissively and rolling her eyes while purportedly representing me. The ruling in that hearing was adverse to me. Further, when I filed a motion to change venue following an agreed relocation, Rebecca improperly inserted language into my declaration stating that I was “acting against the advice of my attorney,” thereby undermining my credibility and actively harming my position. Rebecca’s ongoing refusal to advocate for my safety or my children’s well-being materially assisted the opposing party in continuing his abuse and coercive control. Her conduct demonstrates a clear unwillingness to protect victims of abuse and instead enabled its continuation.
