About Mike
Biography
Mike's years in private practice have included representation of clients in a wide variety of general business transactions and in all forms of real estate transactions, with emphasis on development and financing of high-rise office buildings, shopping centers and residential condominiums. Projects included the Wells Fargo Center (formerly First Interstate Center), Washington Mutual Tower, Elmer J. Nordstrom Medical Tower and Kitsap Mall. Following his years in private practice, Mike has served as in-house counsel at a number of Seattle-based companies covering a broad spectrum of sizes, from start-ups to Fortune 200 companies, and engaged in a variety of industries, including real estate, environmental, bio-technology and banking. His in-house work has involved addressing the broad range of legal issues that businesses face and has afforded him the opportunity to play a leadership role in company mergers, acquisitions and liquidations as well as to develop an expertise in corporate governance.
