If you are not the parent that has the child a greater number of days, you have to go back to court to get the ability to claim the child....

Did you ever declare this as income? Because as a cash basis taxpayer, if you never received it, you would likely never recognize this as income....

Get a copy of the extension filed by the CPA. If it was never filed, and there are penalties and interest, you should ask the CPA to cover these...
