I am so glad I hired Mr. Gustad to represent me in my Disability case. After being denied 3 times and months of deliberation between doctors and therapists we got a court date and even though he works around the Washington State hos receptionist and co partner were able to communicate and corolate ne...eded papers and signitures. I am going to start by telling you I don't have a lot of faith in attorneys, having been shafted for more money than I can say by them in the past. Jean Paul Gustad, his staff, and his associate Randy Wolfe were a truly refreshing surprise. They took my case in 2015, after I got hit by a mailman ri...ding my bicycle, thrown nearly 30 feet, and ended up with severe spinal injuries and severe Post Concussive Syndrome. My attorney on the bike case threw the case, failed to file, and lied about, so I was left with serious injuries, a newborn daughter to raise alone, and zero income. The Gustad Law Group took my case, fought it until today, I finally got a positive finding after appeal. Randy Wolfe handled the hearing, he was polite, understated, listened carefully, then in just a couple incisive questions turned the whole thing upside down, and I am convinced that his finesse more than the medical records is what won me this case. Very seriously, if you have a disability case, I wouldn't trust anyone else with it. Very thankful I found them, as I finally can start LIVING again.

I hired John Paul Gustad after receiving my 2nd denial for SSDI. He's very competent, knowledgeable and experienced with the SSDI claims and the judicial process. He successfully won a full favorable decision for me! When you hire him, listen, It may seem like you've been put you on the back bur...ner waiting, but, he knows his STUFF. When your hearing is up, it goes so fast, write down any questions you may think of along the way. Also, when going to the hearing, you are checked for any weapons etc... leave everything in the car (my tweezers were confiscated). I wish I would've found Gustad Law first, I can't thank him enough!

When I was referred to Atty. Gustad & Maren I was on my 2nd appeal. In speaking with Atty. Gustad I knew he was thoroughly educated in disabilities & how they affect people, and therefore he could represent my case well. I hired his office to do my SSI appeal. In calling his office the staff was alw...ays polite, and in my duress they would keep me on track with filling out appropriate forms correctly. In the courtroom Atty. Gustad was confident and asked the right questions to pin point how my disabilities affect me & my life. Excellent lawyers~be patient if you have a SS case~ it takes 6 months to get your case heard before a Judge~ the lawyers will explain & prepare you for the process. From there it may take at least another 3.5 months to have a decision made on your case. Stay positive & keep in contact with your assig...ned lawyer. Remember: Look out for yourself & double-check with your Attorney that all the pertinent paperwork is in place for the Hearing & Judge's Review. (e.g. Doctors' Records, Doctors' Letters, Any related Tests/Exams). When I say keep in contact ~ please don't call every week ~ an email once a month is fine ~ just know they don't make very much on SS cases & are not a doctor ~ they are very good @ replying to emails ~ however, do not need to hear a sob story ~ they are your Attorney dealing in facts ~ leave the rest for family/friends/doctors & as mentioned above please be patient as the SS has their own time-line as stated above.
