During the hearing there was a moment where this attorney referenced the wrong WAC and then had to spend time trying to look it up on her laptop during the proceeding. It was awkward and uncomfortable, especially in the middle of court. In the end the correct WAC still wasn’t identified during that m...oment. Before the hearing I had been told the case looked very weak and would likely get dismissed, so I went in expecting a completely different outcome. Throughout the process I often felt like I was being asked what I wanted to do without being given clear options or guidance about strategy. The judge ultimately ruled against me. After the hearing I called because I was confused and upset about what had happened, and I was told that the outcome was unexpected and that she didn’t know why the judge ruled that way. I left the experience feeling confused and unsupported and without a clear explanation of what had happened. I would recommend asking very detailed questions about strategy and expectations before hiring this attorney.
