Elaine brings a rare blend of compassion, dedication, and deep-rooted public service to her work in family law. Born and raised on the island of Saipan in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Elaine grew up surrounded by role models in public service, her family members served in the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of local government. Inspired by that tradition, she set her sights on a career that would allow her to serve her community, wherever she called home.
Elaine’s path took her to Washington state, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Seattle University, followed by a Master’s in Public Administration. Always eager for a challenge, she pursued her law degree at Seattle University School of Law while completing graduate school—graduating in 1999.
After clerking for the CNMI Family Court, Elaine returned to Washington, passed the bar in 2000, and began her legal career at a small personal injury firm in North Seattle. While helping clients navigate insurance claims was rewarding, it was when she took on her first family law cases that she found her true calling.
For more than fifteen years, Elaine has worked with families facing some of life’s most difficult transitions—divorces, custody and support disputes, relocations, and domestic violence matters. She approaches every case with empathy, patience, and a focus on reducing stress while achieving the best possible outcome.
When she’s not advocating for clients, Elaine loves spending time with her family and two dogs. She’s also deeply at home in the Pacific Northwest, where she’s more likely to be found enjoying the region’s natural beauty than anywhere else in the world.

Family Law Attorney
I cannot recommend Elaine highly enough. From the very beginning, she was attentive, responsive, and took the time to explain every step of the process in a way that was easy to understand. She made sure I was fully informed of my options and always took the time to answer my questions thoroughly. ...
"I have had the opportunity to work alongside and mentor Attorney Elaine Inos, and I have been consistently impressed by her professionalism, legal judgment, and genuine commitment to her clients. Elaine brings an uncommon combination of careful preparation, thoughtful advocacy, and compassion to her family law practice. She understands that family law is not simply about statutes, pleadings, and court orders—it is about people navigating some of the most difficult transitions of their lives. She treats clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and everyone involved in a case with professionalism and respect. What distinguishes Elaine is her ability to remain both strategic and human. She is attentive to the details that matter, approaches difficult issues with sound judgment, and advocates firmly without losing sight of the bigger picture. She is also the kind of attorney who continually seeks to improve her craft and welcomes thoughtful collaboration. I endorse this lawyer."
"I have had the pleasure of working with Elaine, and I have found her to be an exceptionally competent, thoughtful, and dedicated attorney. She is highly skilled in the courtroom and advocates for her clients with both confidence and zeal. At the same time, she has a remarkable ability to think creatively and find practical solutions that can resolve cases effectively outside of the courtroom. What stands out just as much as her legal ability is the way she treats people. She is kind, friendly, approachable, and exceptionally easy to work with. Clients and opposing counsel alike seem to naturally gravitate toward her, which I believe speaks volumes about the respect and trust she inspires in others. She combines strong advocacy with sound judgment, creativity, professionalism, and genuine compassion for the people she represents. I have great respect for her abilities and for the way she practices law. I endorse this attorney!"
"★★★★★ Outstanding Family Law Attorney As the managing attorney at our firm, I've had the privilege of overseeing Elanie Inos's work on numerous family law matters, and I can say without hesitation that she is one of the most compassionate and effective settlement-oriented attorneys I've worked with. Elanie has a rare ability to cut through the emotional complexity of divorce and parenting disputes to identify what her clients actually need — not just what they're angry about in the moment. She listens carefully, manages expectations honestly, and consistently finds creative paths to resolution that serve her clients' long-term interests rather than short-term grievances. This skill set has allowed her to resolve a high percentage of her caseload through negotiated settlement, sparing clients the cost, delay, and emotional toll of prolonged litigation."
"Elaine is one of those attorneys who genuinely loves the work. She's been practicing family law in Washington since 2000, and what stands out is how engaged she is with every case in front of her. Elaine isn't the type of attorney who would ever ask for an endorsement like this — but she's exactly the type who deserves one. Her clients describe her as attentive, responsive, and thorough — someone who takes the time to explain the process, walks them through their options, and makes sure they understand where their case is going. None of that surprises me. Elaine has real personality and an easy way with people, and she pairs it with deep knowledge of the law. I'm lucky to get to work with her."
