A client needed a Canadian to enter the U.S. to work as an assistant to a chemical engineer as a scientific technician. The Port of Entry initially denied the TN application because the officer though ... t the person was involved in management duties. Joel was able to convince the officer that the position qualified under the North American Free Trade Agreement as a Scientific Technician and the person received TN status for three years.
