John Eugene Cicero II

Early in June of 2008, I entered into an agreement with Mr. Cicero for his assistance on tax matters. It was his mission to determine the accuracy of those taxes, and if legitimate to advocate on our part intervene with the IRS to resolve the matter. Presuming it may take time to communicate with... the IRS, I allowed a time to pass but not having heard from Mr. Cicero I faxed him asking to know the status of our case. I was finally able to reach him some five weeks after engaging his services and again reminded him of the work he was supposed to be undertaking. I received no further response, so eight weeks later I began faxing him and he did not respond to telephone calls. After about 10 weeks Mr. Cicero finally spoke with me on the phone and printed and faxed a number of documents from the IRS. These were not decipherable and he was not able to provide an opinion of their accuracy. Because he had not undertaken the work I had to engage our CPA to perform Mr. Cicero's duties. After receiving her preliminary reconciliation, I attempted to reach Mr. Cicero by fax on several occasions without a response. Mr. Cicero's delay has caused further complications and our inability to gain the assistance he promised so he was discharged a new attorney was engaged who has bee knowledgable and very responsive. Mr. Cicero’s promises of assistance was unfair and misleading. It appears he had no intention of providing the promised service, or was too busy to do so and, in any case, has failed to provide a professional level of assistance and communication. ‘ I have written Mr. Cicero's requiring a refund of the retainer funds for which he did not provide the indicated service. As usual, he has failed to respond. In addition, I have been told that Mr. Cicero is not licensed in the State of Washington where his office is located.
