Colin Kearns

Colin F. Kearns is a civil trial lawyer. His practice emphasizes the defense of insureds and self-insureds in complex litigation in the Pacific Northwest. Colin specializes in the defense of physicians, hospitals, and other health care providers against claims of medical malpractice. In addition to his focus on the defense of health care providers, Colin also represents counties and cities, public schools, and lawyers against claims of professional negligence. Colin has successfully defended physicians and hospitals in civil jury trials and before the Department of Health.

Washington Super Lawyers selected Colin as a Rising Star within the field of medical malpractice. He is a member of the Washington State and King County bar associations, and is admitted to practice in the Eastern and Western District Courts of Washington. Colin is also a member of Washington Defense Trial Lawyers and Washington Healthcare Risk Management Society.

Colin is a classically trained actor. Prior to working as a litigator, Colin attended Cornish College of the Arts and spent several years "on the boards" in Washington and California. Colin eventually graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Political Science and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law.

Colin's law practice is statewide, as he proudly represents clients on both sides of the mountains.
