I fight for people and businesses who have had their insurance claim denied, delayed, or underpaid by their insurance company.  You paid for insurance to protect your property or your life and it is not right when your claim is unreasonably denied or underpaid.  The insurance company has a team of lawyers and adjusters on their side and you should have someone fighting for you and your rights.

I am experienced at litigating insurance bad faith cases in both Washington State and Federal Courts.  My bad faith insurance practice is focused on property insurance and I handle claims involving the Insurance Fair Conduct Act (IFCA).  I have significant experience working for insurance companies in property and liability insurance but I no longer represent them.  I use my experience to represent the victims of their bad faith practices.

I was born in Auburn and grew up in Covington.  I graduated from West Point with a bachelor's degree and then served as an officer in the US Army, including an assignment at Ft. Lewis (now JBLM). After leaving the Army as a Captain, I attended and graduated from law school at Arizona State University before moving back to Washington and starting to practice law in 1991.
