Mackenzie Owen Bretz

I was blindsided by a false accusation while moving out during a breakup of a long-term relationship and hired Mackenzie to represent me after a free-consultation. The consultation informed me it was possible to request a cancellation of the trial under the pretense that I would permanently end cont...act with the accuser in all forms. Mackenzie delayed sending this request and I found out the plaintiff never received the request by the end, Mackenzie refused to contact the plaintiff using anything except an old email address. After Mackenzie requested an extension, the plaintiff made additional wild accusations to which Mackenzie requested I just plead guilty despite my having evidence of the claims being false and the plaintiff committing multiple counts of perjury. I wrote an extensive rebuttal to the false claims to which Mackenzie refused to represent me if I wanted to use during the trial. When submitting evidence Mackenzie told me not to submit the video evidence which ultimately lead to having the case dismissed (confirmed verbally by the judge). I had to demand multiple times the evidence be submitted for the trial to which Mackenzie then wrote the incorrect dates for as to what date the recordings were referring to (making it appear as if they were not related to the trial). If it were not for the judge seeing the video evidence which Mackenzie tried to suppress in multiple ways, I would have been found guilty and subjected to potentially years long consequences to my life. I don't know the reason behind Mackenzie's actions, but I strongly advise against hiring her as an attorney. I had to demand that the evidence that dismissed the trial be used multiple times and demanded her assistant submit it to the court on my behalf because Mackenzie went on vacation after not submitting it during the necessary period.
