Matt Kunz is a detailed, vigilant, protective, intelligent and attentive lawyer who always had my back. He listened to the facts, asked pertinent questions and compiled proper evidence to build a solid case. He went toe to toe with two different lawyers, beating them using logic and the evidence he skillfully compiled. Matt’s written declarations and his court appearances were concise, accurate and always backed up by proof. He outwitted the other lawyers using case law and logical arguments while earning the respect of the Judges by expertly following the rules of the court. I felt he treated me like family and always had my back. He made sure I understood why certain court orders or rules had to be followed, and I felt he was as invested in the case as I was.

I'd like to take a moment and give a personal review of Matt Kunz my attorney. I was involved in a very emotional legal matter that was devastating to me personally. Through much hard work and perseverance from Matt I was able to gain closure and start putting my life back together. This was not an e...asy task as I had little experience in anything regarding litigation. Matt was extremely professional and informative through all the steps and processes from deposition to court, breaking down clearly what was expected and more specifically what was meant by exchanges between both Lawyers and the Judge. If I appeared confused or unaware, he always took time to explain in lay terms what was happening and why. There were times when my stress level didn't allow me to fully understand the moment and he always found a way to bring it full circle. He reads situations in an uncanny way with an ability to see philosophically through the rhetoric, a gift I very much appreciated. His philosophical approach put me at ease throughout the case. I believe the Judge appreciated this as well as he complimented him for thinking fast on his feet and that he didn't waste any time making his point. Matt helped me stay focused on the case and not get side tracked with emotion by keeping me informed. He left nothing to the imagination so to speak. It's very easy to get caught up in the moment but his professional knowledge and wisdom help keep me grounded to the end. We reached a point when we were ordered to Mediate and once again Matt was outstanding in this arena. On a very personal note, this is the first review of this kind I've ever participated in. I do not take it lightly and mean when I tell you that if I ever have to go to court again, it will be with Matt's representation. I wanted to protect myself and my family from a system that I long thought was broken, he helped me regain trust and even a new respect of our legal system. His compassion and love for litigation shows in how he practices. I have a huge amount of respect for him as an attorney, but will always consider him, my friend.
