About Marc
Biography
I have been in practice since 1982, upon graduating from the University of Puget Sound School Of Law (now Seattle University School of Law) and have been in sole practice for about 20 years, focusing on plaintiff's personal injury litigation. I am a member of the Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association, Washington State Association for Justice and the American Trial Lawyers Association. I am a former member of the Board of Governors of the Washington State Association for Justice, have written and lectured extensively on the subjects of insurance law and the law of negligence claims (torts) as well as many aspects of litigation practice. I have obtained excellent results for my clients including, for example, a $3.8 million settlement of an insurance bad faith and legal malpractice case, a $500,000 settlement in a failure to diagnose cancer with leg amputation, and nearly $800,000 for a shattered ankle from a fall off defective scaffolding.
I am admitted to practice before all the courts in the state of Washington as well as the United States Federal District Court , the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the US Bankruptcy Court and the US Court of Federal Claims. I am also a 2003 graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College. In addition to my skill and experience in the areas of insurance and personal injury trial law, I have significant background and experience in bankruptcy and commercial litigation.
