Bradford M. Kimball II

Bradford M. Kimball II is an attorney dedicated to providing pragmatic, well-researched advocacy for clients across complex aerospace, civil litigation, family law, and corporate transactional matters. Practicing at Van Siclen, Stocks & Firkins in Auburn, Washington, and admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2025, Brad brings a wealth of real-world experience to his practice. He approaches every case with a strategic focus on problem-solving and risk mitigation, informed by his robust background in the financial services and regulatory sectors. He is particularly passionate about the emerging legal landscape of the aerospace industry and actively tracks developing trends in space law and regulation. His civil litigation and family law experience includes representing clients in various matters, including navigating divorce, dissolution, and protection orders.

Brad’s legal experience includes serving as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Jacqueline M. DeLuca in the U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska. In this role, he drafted proposed Judicial Orders and Memoranda, gaining critical insight into federal litigation and judicial decision-making. His corporate legal background features roles as an In-House Law Clerk for Raymond James & Associates—where he crafted comprehensive 50-state legal and regulatory analyses to enhance firm compliance—and as a Summer Associate for Ameritas, researching complex insurance, governance, and taxation matters.

Before pursuing his legal career, Brad provided financial planning and investment advisory services as a Financial Advisor for Raymond James & Associates in Seattle, and supported a financial advisory team at UBS Financial Services in New York. During his time in the financial industry, he held FINRA Series 7, Series 66, and Series 3 licenses. This extensive advisory experience gives him a unique, practical perspective on institutional finance, regulatory compliance, and business risk.

Brad earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law, where he concentrated on Business Transactions Law and Space & Satellite Business Law. While in law school, he was highly active in the Space Cyber Telecom Club, serving as Vice President. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Brown University, where he was a member of the Varsity Football team and President of the Theta Delta Chi Fraternity. Additionally, he completed the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth College.

A native of the Boston area, Brad fell in love with the Pacific Northwest after moving to Mercer Island, Washington, during high school. When he is not advocating for his clients, he enjoys sailing, skiing, hiking, camping, music, and traveling. He is also an avid follower of both Boston and Seattle sports teams.
