Biography
I am originally from Beaverton, Oregon and attended Washington State University in Pullman, WA, and Willamette University College of Law in Salem, OR.
In law school, I clerked for the Oregon Law Commission and worked on a variety of legislative issues concerning criminal justice reform; primarily dealing with issues surrounding the collateral consequences that individuals face once convicted.
During law school, I also clerked for a criminal defense firm in Salem, OR, working on a variety of cases ranging from criminal defense, post conviction relief, and some personal injury. cases.
As an attorney, I have worked a diverse range of cases varying from DUII's and other low level misdemeanors to serious assaults, attempted murders, and Ballot Measure 11 cases. My goal is to secure the best possible outcome for every client either at trial or by negotiating a dismissal or a plea agreement with the State.
I also represent clients on post-conviction relief (PCR) cases to seek relief for claims of ineffective assistance of counsel or violations of state and federal constitutional rights.
