Client kept a boat at his vacation home in Galveston, Texas. The boat was flooded during Hurricane Nicholas in September 2021, causing extensive damage to electronics and engine. Client discovered th ... e damage after he returned to his vacation home in late October (6 weeks after the Hurricane) and promptly made a claim with his insurance company. Insurance company blamed client due to his delay in discovering the damage and denied the claim ($0 offer).

The injured guest then sued Client for negligent entrustment and other causes of action. Client's insurance company refused to cover the claim and refused to defend Client in this action.
