I graduated from Indiana University in 1993 and the DePaul University College of Law, in Chicago, IL, in 1996. Since that time my law practice has varied, from working in a private criminal law practice, to handling consumer and domestic law cases for the City of Chicago, and then working as a Federal attorney for many years, focusing on disability law, and later concentrating on employment and labor law.
I took a few years off of law to pursue a non-law related business venture, but since returning to practice as an attorney, I have been 100% focused on advising Central Oregonians of their options under the US Bankruptcy Code. Bankruptcy is my only business, and helping Central Oregonians through this process is something I thoroughly enjoy.
My wife and I moved West from Chicago in 1999, and we have resided in Central Oregon since 2006. We have 2 young daughters, and are excited about raising them in this thriving and personable community. We have seen first hand the effects the economic and housing downturn has had on our friends, neighbors and Central Oregon as a whole. Just like you, we have faith in the future of Central Oregon, and look forward to leading a long and prosperous life here, and that starts with financial stability.
I pride myself on retaining a personal relationship with my clients. If you are looking for a big law firm atmosphere, you will not find it here. Some bankruptcy firms handle a thousand cases or more in one year, but I simply do not want to be a “bankruptcy mill” and crank out case after case. I prefer to work one-to-one with my clients so I can provide not only exceptional service but compassion, as they work through this unique, and sometimes difficult, time.
An experienced paralegal is an integral part of my firm. Not only does she complete administrative processing, let clients know what documents we need, schedule appointments, and greet clients, she is also qualified to answer many questions you may have. However, as far as the legal aspects of your case are concerned, all of my clients interact with me. We strive to return telephone calls or email the same day at no additional cost. My fees are comparable to or less than most firms, and I can also work with you on payment plan options.

Thankful
So thankful I found Andrew Harris for my Ch. 7 bankruptcy. Not only was he willing to work with us on payments, but both he and his assistant also did all the heavy lifting for me. They made a daunting and scary process simple and easy to understand. They both answered every single one of my ques...

The Best Bankruptcy Attorney in Central Oregon!
Last year my wife and I filed a Chapter 7. We met with a few attorneys in Bend, and Andrew's knowledge, personality, and in-depth communication was light years above the other attorneys we met with. Lawyers sometimes rub me the wrong way, but that was definitely not the case with Andrew. He knew e...
