Phil H Duong

Phil Duong joined Baxter Law in 2022 as an attorney with seven years of experience as a prosecutor. He's served as a Deputy District Attorney in both Deschutes and Crook counties. In addition to his work in Central Oregon, Phil has also worked as a prosecutor in the Washington County District Attorney’s Office and judicial clerk Multnomah County. He brings to the team extensive experience as a trial litigator at all levels and types of felony and and misdemeanor crimes.

In addition to his legal experience, Phil has extensive life experience in multiple other disciplines. For example, Phil has almost ten years of experience in the legal-tech sector. While at the Bend start-up Manzama, Phil’s multi-disciplinary approach elevated him to Product Director of the artificial intelligence and data science unit. In 2021, Phil was awarded a US patent as co-inventors of Insights, Manzama's AI news and business intelligence platform.

Phil is a 2006 graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, with a certificate in Criminal Law. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Lewis & Clark College. He’s an avid cyclist and enjoys backpacking in both the heat of the high desert and the rain of the Willamette Valley.
